Position: Heat Pump Engineer
Location: Mobile - covering parts of Berkshire & Surrey
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000 (DOE)
We currently have an opportunity available with a client of ours, a renewable energy contractor with over 15 years' experience supporting the domestic heat pump and solar PV installation market, currently installing 60 - 100 heat pumps a month and looking to expand their current team due to a successful long-term installation contract.
Heat Pump Engineer Job Overview
- Installing domestic air source heat pump systems within residential properties
- Running a team on site, including coordinating engineers, supporting apprentices and being the point of contact for the client on site
- Decommissioning gas heating systems and replacing them with new heat pumps and potentially new radiators, pipework, cylinders, etc
- Travelling to sites across the following postcodes - RG, SL, GU & KT, with travel largely from home initially with one visit to the office in Newbury per week for materials

Heat Pump Engineer Job Requirements
- Strong background within domestic air source heat pump installations, with 5+ years hands on experience
- Experienced in running small-scale domestic sites and confident in dealing with apprentices, other trades, and customer queries
- Ideally holding industry-relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating and/or a BPEC qualification in heat pump installations
- Confident in the current MCS industry requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be based in one of the following postcodes - RG, SL, GU or KT

- Basic salary £40,000 - £52,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Company van provided with optional personal use
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Opportunities are available for evening and weekend overtime
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
- All local work across Berkshire and Surrey
