We offer high-tech heat pump solutions for heating, ventilation, cooling and heat recovery that reflect today's demand for sustainable construction.
About the role
The Heat Pump Sales Consultant will convert qualified homeowner enquiries into confirmed NIBE heat pump installation orders. Based at our Chesterfield head office, you will manage each opportunity from first contact to accepted proposal, explaining solutions clearly, following up consistently and coordinating a smooth handover to survey, design and operations. Please note this is a full time office based role located at our Head Office in Chesterfield Derbyshire.

What will you do?
- Contact and qualify new and existing leads by phone and email, understanding their property, heating needs, budget and timescale.
- Explain NIBE heat pump options, benefits, costs, available support schemes and the installation journey clearly.
- Present proposals, answer questions, handle objections and follow up consistently to close sales.
- Own your CRM pipeline, maintaining accurate notes, next steps and forecasts.
- Meet agreed activity, conversion and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with survey, design, technical and operations teams to validate information and ensure a smooth handover.
- Set clear and honest expectations on suitability, costs, timescales and customer actions.
- Maintain up-to-date product and market knowledge, and share won or lost feedback to improve the sales process.
What will you bring?
- Proven telephone-based, inside or consultative B2C sales experience, ideally involving a high-value purchase.
- Strong telephone and written communication, with the ability to build trust and explain technical information simply.
- Confidence discussing value and handling objections.
- A target-driven, resilient and self-motivated approach with a strong customer focus.
- Strong organisation and disciplined use of CRM, pipeline and follow-up activity.
- Heat pump, renewable energy, HVAC or home-improvement experience is desirable; a willingness to learn is essential.
