Role Description
The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Plymouth Area. This position is responsible for diagnosing issues with HVAC systems, performing repairs, and completing routine preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment. - Responding to service calls
- Inspecting systems for efficiency and safety
- Replacing or repairing components
- Documenting work performed
The technician will also communicate clearly with customers about findings, provide recommendations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The role may involve occasional after-hours or weekend work during peak seasons to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of heating and cooling systems, including performing routine preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of EPA regulations and possession of appropriate EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
- Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC or a closely related field; trade school or apprenticeship experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work safely with tools and equipment, follow company and industry safety standards, and maintain accurate service records.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations in the Greater Plymouth Area.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments, including lifting moderate weights, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Compensation
$50-$60 an hour for qualified candidates
