Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Gateshead. The engineer will install, service, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial environments, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Daily tasks include:
- Diagnosing faults
- Carrying out repairs
- Performing routine preventative maintenance
- Completing relevant documentation and reports

The role also involves working closely with the wider facilities team, traveling to client sites using company vehicles, and communicating clearly with customers about work carried out and any follow-up requirements. Adherence to health and safety standards and company procedures is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong HVAC Engineering and general HVAC system knowledge
- HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for planning and layout of systems
- Maintenance & Repair skills for troubleshooting, servicing, and restoring HVAC equipment
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or building services engineering
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications, with strong problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
