Qualified Air Conditioning & HVAC Engineer

About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing a wide range of HVAC Systems.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance(PPM) on air conditioning, Heat Pump and Ventilation systems.
- Diagnosing faults efficiently and carrying out high-quality repairs.
- Responding to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
- Using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system faults.
- Installing commercial and domestic air conditioning systems of varying sizes, including split, multi-split and VRF/VRV Systems.
- Installing and commissioning Heat pump and ventilation systems.
- Ensuring all installations and repairs are carried out and completed to the highest professional standards.
- Completing digital Job reports and service documentation accurately.
- Building positive relationships with customers through clear communication and excellent service.
- Working independently whilst also supporting colleagues when required to.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance at all times.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is technically competent, reliable and takes a real pride in their work.
You'll Ideally have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in air conditioning & Refrigerant (or equivalent)
- F-GAS Category 1 Certification
- Experience in servicing, maintaining and installing commercial and domestic air conditioning systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience working with HVAC, Ventilation and heat pump systems.
- A full UK Driving license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently, part of a team and manage your own workload.

Desirable Qualifications
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification
- IPAF
- PASMA
- CSCS Card
- Experience with Major manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi electric, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Panasonic and LG
