Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Heating Engineer at Elite Services Group Ltd. The Heating Engineer will install, commission, service, and maintain central heating systems and associated renewable technologies in domestic and commercial properties, coordinating with on-site teams as needed. The role involves working with renewable systems, supporting plumbing work related to heating installations, completing accurate documentation, and using digital tools to manage jobs and communicate with colleagues. The Heating Engineer will also provide clear, professional customer support, explaining work carried out, advising on system use, and promoting energy-efficient and low-carbon solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in central heating installation, fault-finding, servicing, and maintenance.
- Practical experience and safety awareness in working with air source heat pump systems.
- Plumbing skills related to heating systems, pipework, and associated fixtures.
- Building maintenance knowledge to support safe, compliant, and efficient installations.
- Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and a focus on client satisfaction.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe registration or equivalent, NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing/Heating) are highly beneficial.
- Experience with low-carbon and renewable heating technologies (such as heat pumps or solar thermal) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote role, manage time effectively, and use digital job management tools.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites within Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and surrounding areas as required.
