Summary
SK Heating and Cooling Ltd is a leading specialist in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, and Heating, serving commercial clients across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of both domestic and commercial heating systems. A strong emphasis is placed on high-quality workmanship, fault-finding ability, and customer care.
Package & Benefits

Salary: up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostic work and repairs on heating systems
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Install domestic and commercial heating systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work and communication

Knowledge Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications Required
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline – preferred
- Solid fault diagnosis and repair skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety
- CPA1 – Combustion Performance Analysis
- CENWAT – Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters
- CKR1 – Domestic Cooking Appliances
- HTR1 – Domestic Fires and Wall Heaters
- CODNCO1 – Changeover Domestic to Commercial NG
- CORT1 – Overhead Radiant Heaters
- CICA1 – Commercial Fired Heaters
- CIGA1 – Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances
- CDGA1 – Direct Fired Commercial Appliances
- ICPN1 – Installation of Commercial Pipework
- TPCP1 – Testing and Purging Pipework over 1m³
- TPC1A – Testing and Purging Pipework under 1m³
- EFJLP1 – Polyethylene Electrofusion Jointing

Qualities
- A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong interest in the industry
- Willingness to develop and progress through structured training
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
