Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Goods Vehicle Drainage Engineer role based in Hull. The role involves operating Muller Recyclers and Jet Vac tankers to carry out drainage maintenance, clearance, and waste removal services for commercial and domestic clients. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Drainage Engineer will follow job instructions, complete service reports, and communicate effectively with the operations team and clients on-site. Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as proper care of vehicles and equipment, is an essential part of the position.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of drainage systems, including experience with drainage Cleansing.
- Understanding of flood risk and stormwater management in practical field settings.
- Familiarity with water resource management principles as they relate to drainage operations.
- Experience or training in drainage design or interpretation of drainage plans is beneficial.
- Valid HGV license and proven experience operating heavy goods vehicles and related equipment.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards within drainage and waste management.
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, with good physical fitness for manual tasks.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow job instructions and complete documentation accurately.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in drainage, or a related field is an advantage.
