Company Description
Riva South Ltd is a logistics and storage provider established in 1989, operating from secure sites in the Southampton area close to the M27/M3 and the Port of Southampton.
The freehold premises in Tower Lane, Eastleigh (SO50), is a UK Border Force approved facility (E.T.S.F), enabling bonded shunt and devan operations from Southampton Port while customers arrange customs clearance and payment of duty and VAT. A second site on the outskirts of Winchester (SO21) offers medium- and long-term storage, with specialist handling and a Pallet Network operation based at the Chalcroft facility.
Riva South provides full load and groupage services, pallet and container storage, container handling, FBA services, export and project cargo handling including vehicle import/export, and in-house maintenance with a DVSA-approved brake testing facility.

Role Description
We have multiple full-time Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver roles based primarily at the Eastleigh site.
Day-to-day responsibilities include driving HGVs for transporting palletised goods between company sites and customer locations through our pallet network service.
The role also involves conducting vehicle safety checks, ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations and company policies, and completing all delivery and collection documentation accurately and on time.

Driving positions Available:
- 7.5T Pallet Network - Day Driver
- 18T Pallet Network - Day Driver
- 26T Pallet Network - Day Driver
- 44T Pallet Network - Night Trubking
Qualifications
- Valid HGV licence (e.g., Class 1 or Class 2), up-to-date Driver CPC, and a clean or minimal points driving record.
- Understanding of road transport regulations, DVSA compliance, tachograph use, and safe loading and securing of freight.
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork and digital logs accurately.
- Effective communication skills.
- Awareness of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team, including occasional flexible hours when required.
