£45,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading suppliers of ready-mixed concrete, who are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to join their engineering team in Enfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, working on a diverse fleet of heavy plant machinery, concrete pumps and HGVs. If you enjoy variety and are looking for a long-term career with plenty of overtime and progression, this could be the perfect role.

The Role

As a Heavy Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of heavy plant, concrete pumps and HGVs, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and available for operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on concrete pumps and HGVs.
  • Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical fault finding.
  • Complete planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Accurately complete service documentation and job reports.

The Candidate

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, HGV Technician, Workshop Engineer or Field Service Engineer.
  • Experience working on heavy plant, concrete pumps, HGVs or similar construction equipment.
  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) is desirable.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
