Heavy Plant Engineer (Progression to Agricultural)
£40,000 - £47,000 + Company Benefits + Manufacturer Specific Training + Progression + Company Van + Monday - Friday
Location: Sandbach - Regional Patch
Are you a Heavy Plant Engineer or similar looking to join a growing machinery dealership where you can work across workshop and field-based environments, while receiving manufacturer-specific training and the opportunity to progress into agricultural machinery?
A well-established, family-run engineering and machinery business providing sales, servicing and repair solutions across Cheshire and surrounding regions. The business supports customers with a range of leading machinery brands, alongside specialist expertise in tractors, loaders and other heavy plant equipment.

The Role:
- Service, repair and maintain heavy plant and agricultural machinery
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and carry out effective repairs
- Attend customer sites to resolve machinery breakdowns across a regional patch
- Complete pre-delivery inspections on new machinery
- Receive manufacturer-specific training and develop agricultural machinery expertise
The Person:
- Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, agricultural or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Commutable to Sandbach
