Role Overview
Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery.
Attend customer sites to diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs.
Complete workshop-based repairs, servicing, and major component replacements.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine faults.
Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Complete service reports and associated paperwork accurately.
Work effectively as part of a small, experienced engineering team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Heavy Plant Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
- Experience working on construction or heavy plant equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently on-site and within the workshop.

Salary & Benefits
- £19.00-£20.00 per hour, with higher rates available depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm.
- Every other Saturday: 7:00am - 1:00pm.
- 50/50 split between workshop and mobile work.
- Company van provided for mobile work.
