Heavy Plant Field Service Engineer

Location: Stourbridge

Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour + Company Van + Overtime (OTE £60,000+) + Pension


NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected heavy plant business who are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team covering the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a wide variety of heavy plant machinery, with plenty of overtime available, excellent support and genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance and repair of heavy plant and construction machinery
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
  • Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Attend customer breakdowns across the West Midlands
  • Complete job sheets and service reports accurately
  • Deliver first-class customer service while representing the business on site
  • Manage your own workload and territory efficiently

The Candidate

  • Previous experience working as a Heavy Plant, Construction Equipment or Agricultural Engineer
  • Strong diagnostic skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience working on excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, telehandlers or similar equipment
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A positive attitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
