Heavy Plant Fitter (Field-Based)
£22 - £25 p/hr + Own Van + Fuel Card + Over time + Door to Door Pay + 25 days holiday
Location
Northampton - Luton - Remote
Are you a Plant Fitter with experience of Heavy Plant, looking to join a market-leading and fast-growing Importer and Dealer of Heavy Plant and Agricultural machinery, which supplies to the Recycling, Forestry and Demolition industries?
Are you looking for a long-term stable role, servicing Heavy Plant throughout the Southeast of England with occasional travel farther afield?
On offer is an autonomous and varied field role, where you will service and repair Heavy Plant, predominantly in the western and northern home counties, with occasional paid overnight trips to clients, potentially anywhere in the UK, where you will be the face of this leading Importer and Dealer of Heavy Plant.
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing Heavy Plant Dealer that supplies a range of Machinery, including Shredders, Crushers, Screeners, Conveyors, and Demolition and Quarrying machinery, where you will be responsible for service, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding.

The Role
- Complete Service, Maintenance and Repair on specialist Heavy Plant equipment
- Almost 100% of the time in the field
- 0700-1700 Mon to Fri
- Predominantly the western and northern home counties areas, with occasional overnight stays potentially anywhere within the UK
- Fault-finding on mechanics, electrics, Pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronic equipment
- Potential fabrication and welding skills needed
The Person
- Experience of Heavy Plant servicing and repair
- Driving License
- Happy with occasional overnight stays
