Hebrew Freelance Translator & Copy Editor (Product, Marketing & UI Content)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Hebrew Freelance Translator & Copy Editor (Product, Marketing & UI Content) based in United Kingdom.
This remote freelance opportunity is ideal for a skilled language professional with native or near-native Hebrew proficiency and a strong command of U.S. English. You will support a long-term international project by translating and editing a wide range of content, including marketing materials, product information, user interfaces, customer support resources, and light legal content. Your work will help ensure that digital experiences and communications feel natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate for Hebrew-speaking audiences. You will collaborate within a global localization environment, using computer-assisted translation tools and established quality standards. With an expected workload of approximately 1,000–2,000 words or more per week, this role offers ongoing project engagement and the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility international initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Translate content from U.S. English into Hebrew (he-IL), ensuring linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural relevance, and consistency with the intended message.
- Copy-edit and refine Hebrew translations across marketing, product, user interface, customer support, informational, and light legal content.
- Adapt terminology, tone, and style to suit different content formats, target audiences, and brand requirements.
- Maintain high standards of linguistic quality, accuracy, readability, and consistency across all assigned deliverables.
- Use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and the client's designated translation platform to manage translation and editing tasks efficiently.
- Follow project-specific instructions, terminology guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.
- Manage an ongoing workload of approximately 1,000–2,000+ words per week while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Communicate proactively with project teams regarding assignments, timelines, questions, and potential issues.
- Incorporate feedback, implement revisions, and collaborate with reviewers to continuously improve translation quality.
- Participate in training and onboarding for client-specific tools and workflows as required.

Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew (he-IL), with excellent written comprehension and command of U.S. English (en-US).
- At least 2 years of professional translation experience combined with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or at least 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
- Demonstrated experience translating from English into Hebrew across multiple content categories, including informational, marketing, product, user interface, and customer support materials.
- Practical experience using computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, polished, and consistent translations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle recurring assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment.
- Clear communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and a professional approach to collaboration.
- Openness to feedback and revisions, with a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
- Ability to work independently as a freelance professional while following project requirements and established workflows.
