Hedging & Deal Capture Co-Ordinator

We are looking for an analytical and driven Hedging & Deal Capture Co-Ordinator to join our Supply & Energy Management team and help us manage energy portfolios with precision and purpose.
In this role, you sit at the heart of our hedging operations. You work closely with trading, sales, and finance teams to ensure our gas and electricity positions are accurately captured, actively managed, and strategically optimised. Your work directly supports our ability to serve flexible customers and meet our commercial objectives.
Summary Of What You Will Do
- Execute forward hedging activities for ENGIE Energy Supply customers in line with the Retail Hedging Strategy.
- Manage flexible customer requests promptly, including pricing, deal execution, and accurate recording of transactions across all relevant systems.
- Produce and maintain daily forward curves and forward curve pricing models.
- Monitor and reconcile customer positions to ensure consistency across systems and with trading counterparties.
- Lead analytical work to support the development and optimisation of hedging strategies and business processes.
- Liaise with forecasting, sales, and portfolio management teams to maintain a consistent view of portfolio gains and losses.
- Ensure full adherence to internal risk frameworks, OTC Pricing Policy, and balancing processes.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Solid understanding of hedging, deal capture processes, and energy retail products.
- Strong numerical ability and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience in energy markets or forward trading is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and modelling skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with experience managing external customers and third-party intermediaries.
- A degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Location
Hybrid working arrangement based from our Leeds office (min of 2 days per week), combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.
