Description

Harmony is on a mission to be the best life safety partner to work with and for. Rated an ‘Outstanding Employer’ by Best Companies in 2025, we are only getting bigger and stronger — and we’re looking for A-players to help us get there.

We are passionate about making a difference and obsessed with quality. Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is 100% safe.

We are looking for a Height Safety Service Engineer to join our Service team, carrying out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and certification of height safety systems across our client portfolio. You will be the person our clients trust on site — technically sharp, reliable, and committed to getting every job done safely and to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on, field-based role. If you take pride in your work, hold yourself to a high standard, and want to be part of a business genuinely committed to saving lives — read on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and servicing of height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, fall arrest equipment, and rope access systems.
  • Produce accurate inspection reports, certification documentation, and service records following every visit.
  • Identify defects and remedial requirements, communicating findings clearly to clients and the service admin team.
  • Carry out minor remedial works and component replacements as required.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with relevant standards, RAMS, and Harmony’s health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain your van stock, equipment, and PPE to the required standard at all times.
  • Complete all job management system entries accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with clients professionally on site, representing Harmony’s brand with confidence.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours emergency callout rota as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
