Production Operative – Helium Processing & Distribution (Eynsham Site)
How Will You CONTRIBUTE & GROW?
At Air Liquide, we are seeking a versatile Production Operative to join our Eynsham site, where you’ll manage the end-to-end processing and distribution of helium. This is a hands-on role that combines production, laboratory testing, and logistics.
The Role
This position blends three critical areas:
Production & Filling
- Decant helium from tanks into gas cylinders and cryogenic helium dewars
- Ensuring high-purity standards in every fill cycle
Laboratory Testing
- Operate a helium gas chromatograph to verify product quality
- Conduct rigorous testing to meet customer specifications
Logistics & Delivery
- Coordinate safe HGV deliveries of gas products to customers
- Ensure timely and secure distribution across sites
Operations & Planning
- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory efficiently
- Input data into SAP for inventory tracking and scheduling
- Optimize filling schedules to minimise product loss

Site Maintenance
- Operate forklifts for yard work (training provided)
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free working environment
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (non-negotiable for delivery responsibilities)
Key Competencies
- Technical aptitude: Mechanical background or a strong problem-solving mindset
- Safety first: Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Organisational skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently
