Help Desk Support Associate

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Experience Required: 0-2 years

Salary: $40,000-$50,000/year

Job Summary

We are hiring a Help Desk Support Associate to provide front-line technical assistance to employees. You'll troubleshoot common issues, log support requests, and help ensure quick resolution of everyday technology problems.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to help desk tickets and support requests
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and login issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff
  • Document support interactions and resolutions accurately
  • Assist with equipment setup and account provisioning
  • Provide basic guidance to end users on common systems
  • Support IT inventory and equipment tracking as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in IT a plus
  • 0-2 years of experience in help desk or technical support
  • Basic knowledge of common operating systems and software
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Relevant certification (CompTIA A+) a plus
  • Patient, customer-focused approach to support
