Salary: £30,000
About The Role
An entry-level position supporting a busy Facilities Management Helpdesk. Ideal for someone organised, confident on the phone, and keen to build a career in FM. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reactive maintenance requests via phone, email, and client portals
- Log and update jobs on the system
- Schedule engineers and subcontractors
- Arrange site access and communicate attendance
- Provide job details and required documentation
- Chase updates and keep clients informed
- Support PPM scheduling and SLA monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and assist with general admin
- Escalate urgent issues to senior staff

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Professional and reliable
Desirable
- Office, customer service, or Helpdesk experience
- Exposure to FM, maintenance, or property services
- Experience with CAFM/CRM systems

Development
Training provided across FM processes, reactive and planned maintenance, PPMs, SLAs, CAFM systems, commercial procedures, and compliance documentation. Progression to Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is possible.
