Job Title: Onsite Helpdesk Engineer – Japanese Speaker

Your New Salary:

Up to £39,000 + commuting expenses

Working hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00 / 9:00–17:00

What You'll be Doing:

  • Provide onsite 1st and 2nd line IT support via face-to-face, email, telephone, remote access, and chat.
  • Manage and update support tickets through the IT ticketing system.
  • Support Microsoft 365, user accounts, endpoint devices, and related IT services.
  • Perform basic Windows Server administration and initial incident troubleshooting.
  • Carry out initial network and server incident triage and escalate complex issues where required.
  • Support operational security activities, including security alerts, vulnerability, and patch status checks.
  • Prepare, deploy, replace, and support PCs, mobile phones, peripherals, and other end-user devices.
  • Install, configure, and test approved software on PCs and mobile devices.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience in onsite IT support or helpdesk environments.
  • 1st and 2nd line support experience for PCs, mobile devices, peripherals, and business applications.
  • Microsoft 365 administration and user/account management experience.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or Entra ID is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and endpoint security tools.
  • Basic Windows Server administration and incident-triage knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Prisma is advantageous.
