Role: Helpdesk Operator
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday
Salary: between £25,000 and £32,000 pa DOE
Do you enjoy solving problems, helping people and working with technology every day? We're looking for a Helpdesk Operator to join our IT team, providing first-line support across the business and helping colleagues get the most from their systems and equipment.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work with teams across multiple departments and UK locations. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Samsung Knox, Active Directory, ServiceNow, desktop hardware, mobile devices, printers and business systems. It's a great opportunity for someone with service desk experience who wants to broaden their technical knowledge and continue developing their IT career.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a first point of contact for IT support requests
- Logging, prioritising and resolving service desk tickets
- Investigating and troubleshooting technical issues both remotely and face-to-face
- Setting up, maintaining and supporting IT equipment and business systems
- Creating and updating user guides, training materials and IT documentation
- Working closely with colleagues, infrastructure specialists and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve services
- Supporting users across our Warwick sites and wider UK locations

What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a service desk or first-line IT support environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage priorities and work across multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A positive attitude and a desire to keep learning
