Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced Helpdesk Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused team leader with experience in parts ordering, stock control, procurement, service coordination, or help desk operations.

About the Role

You will lead a small team responsible for managing parts availability, supplier relationships, and stock requirements, ensuring engineers and customers receive the support they need in a timely and efficient manner. Please note: This is not a warehouse management role. We are seeking candidates with experience coordinating parts, suppliers, inventory, and customer service operations rather than hands-on warehouse or logistics management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small Helpdesk Parts Team, allocating workloads and setting priorities.
  • Manage the end-to-end parts ordering process, from purchase order creation through to delivery and resolution of supplier issues.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder requirements, ensuring parts availability while maintaining effective stock control.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, negotiating lead times and resolving supply issues.
  • Liaise with engineers, customers, and internal departments regarding parts availability and order updates.
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs including order accuracy, service levels, and turnaround times.
  • Produce regular performance and management reports.
  • Maintain accurate records across stock management systems, ERP platforms, and internal databases.
  • Support the recovery, categorisation, and management of returned parts and equipment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and cost control.
  • Manage team performance through regular coaching, training, and development.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
