Job Summary
Responsible for the daily operational activities within the hen house at PS Bandar Masilam 3, ensuring optimal bird health, welfare, and productivity in line with company standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks on poultry health and behavior, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or signs of illness promptly.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate environmental conditions within the hen house, including temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
- Ensure accurate and timely feeding of birds according to established schedules and feed formulations.
- Implement and adhere to biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Collect eggs efficiently and carefully, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the hen house and surrounding areas.
- Operate and maintain hen house equipment, including feeders, drinkers, and ventilation systems.
- Assist with the vaccination and treatment of poultry as directed by supervisors or veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate records of bird mortality, feed consumption, egg production, and other relevant data.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, structural issues, or other concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in poultry farming, particularly with layers, is preferred.
- Understanding of basic animal husbandry and welfare principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a farm environment, which may include exposure to dust, odors, and varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and biosecurity.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Melakukan pengecekan harian terhadap kesehatan dan perilaku ayam, segera mengidentifikasi dan melaporkan adanya kelainan atau tanda-tanda sakit.
- Memantau dan menjaga kondisi lingkungan yang sesuai di dalam kandang, termasuk suhu, kelembapan, dan ventilasi.
- Memastikan pemberian pakan ayam yang akurat dan tepat waktu sesuai jadwal dan formulasi pakan yang telah ditentukan.
- Menerapkan dan mematuhi protokol biosekuriti untuk mencegah penyebaran penyakit.
- Mengumpulkan telur dengan efisien dan hati-hati, memastikan penanganan dan penyimpanan yang tepat.
- Menjaga kebersihan dan higienitas di dalam kandang dan area sekitarnya.
- Mengoperasikan dan merawat peralatan kandang, termasuk tempat makan, minum, dan sistem ventilasi.
- Membantu vaksinasi dan perawatan unggas sesuai arahan dari supervisor atau dokter hewan.
- Menjaga catatan yang akurat mengenai kematian unggas, konsumsi pakan, produksi telur, dan data relevan lainnya.
- Melaporkan setiap kerusakan peralatan, masalah struktur, atau hal lain yang menjadi perhatian kepada supervisor.
- Mematuhi semua peraturan keselamatan dan kebijakan perusahaan.

Kualifikasi Pekerjaan
- Ijazah SMA atau setara.
- Pengalaman sebelumnya di peternakan unggas, terutama dengan ayam petelur, lebih disukai.
- Memahami prinsip dasar pemeliharaan dan kesejahteraan hewan.
- Mampu melakukan tugas fisik, termasuk mengangkat, membungkuk, dan berdiri untuk waktu yang lama.
- Bersedia bekerja di lingkungan peternakan, yang mungkin termasuk terpapar debu, bau, dan suhu yang bervariasi.
- Perhatian terhadap detail dan kemampuan mengamati yang baik.
- Mampu mengikuti instruksi dan bekerja efektif dalam tim.
