Victor Heredia, Operations Manager of Emerald Textiles, announced his retirement. Heredia has worked for over 40 years in the laundry industry.
About Victor Heredia's Career at Emerald Textiles
During his time at Emerald, Heredia oversaw all operations of the plant including production operations, engineering, and maintenance. Through his focus on environmental responsibility and streamlining efficiencies, Heredia and his team won awards from the CPUC and the local utility, received recognition from the local water authority, and increased productivity.
Beginning with Emerald’s launch in 2010, Heredia managed the operation through its significant growth, adding new equipment and systems while maintaining the highest quality. At the time of his retirement, he led a team of 12 including the managers and supervisors who oversee well over 300 production employees, and the Chief Engineer who manages 16 maintenance employees and 15 housekeeping employees. Victor managed Emerald’s plant expansion from 52,000 to 77,000 square feet and finally to the entire footprint of the building at 111,000 square feet.

Prior Roles
Prior to joining Emerald Textiles in March 2010, Heredia was the Operations Manager for Mission Linen at their Chino, California location from 2006-2009. Previously, he was the Director of Operations at Angelica Healthcare Services from the mid-seventies to 2006. Heredia has managed more than 15 different processing facilities over his career.
