Experienced Heritage Site Joiner
Location: Projects across Greater Manchester and the North West (Company vehicle provided)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced joiner with a passion for traditional craftsmanship and a deep respect for historic buildings. This role is ideal for someone committed to delivering a high-end finish on both domestic and commercial projects, with a strong focus on listed buildings and conservation properties.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Restoring, repairing, and installing traditional timber sash and casement windows.
- Carrying out intricate, sympathetic timber rot and splice repairs on Grade I / Grade II listed buildings and conservation properties.
- Installing bespoke architectural joinery, doors, and traditional timber mouldings on site.
- Liaising professionally with clients, conservation officers, and site managers while working inside occupied historic properties.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience in heritage joinery, timber restoration, or traditional carpentry.
- Strong preference for candidates with a proven track record working within listed buildings or strict conservation areas.
- Deep knowledge of traditional woodworking joints, timber species, and historic building methods.
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Architectural Joinery / Carpentry & Joinery).
- UK Driving Licence (to utilise the company vehicle).
- Reliable, punctual, and takes immense pride in a clean, tidy, and premium finish.
