Job Description:
We're looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team. Based at their facility in L34, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of glass products to customers across the UK. This role offers consistent hours, excellent working conditions, and the opportunity to join a well-established and growing business.
The role involves 23 nights out (tramping) per week, with overnight allowances provided. Flexibility to stay away from home during the working week is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering glass products safely and efficiently to customers and commercial sites across the UK
- Loading and unloading glass products using appropriate equipment and following safe handling procedures
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy
- Following all road transport legislation, health & safety procedures, and company policies
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and maintaining clear communication with the transport team and customers
- Providing a professional and courteous service, representing the client positively at all delivery locations

Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, IN or DD convictions)
- Good timekeeping, a professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills
