Driver Hire Kettering is currently recruiting an experienced HGV 7.5T (Cat C1) Driver for a well-established white goods distributor operating from Raunds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused driver looking for ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position.

- Rushden
- Daventry
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Saturday
- 5 shifts per week on a rota basis
- 05:45 start time
- Minimum 8-hour shifts
- Longer days available during busy periods

Pay Rates
First 8 Hours
- £13.50 per hour PAYE
- £15.13 per hour PAYE Advanced
Overtime (After 8 Hours)
- £15.00 per hour PAYE
- £16.81 per hour PAYE Advanced
The Role
As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for delivering home appliances directly to customers while providing a first-class customer experience.
Duties Include
- Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and professionally
- Delivering white goods to residential properties
- Assisting with appliance installation (full training provided if offered a permanent role)
- Working on single-manned or double-manned delivery routes
- Using lifting equipment supplied by the company
- Completing between 10 and 25 deliveries per day
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery

Essential Requirements
- Valid Category C1 (7.5T) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 Months’ 7.5T Driving Experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No major motoring offences
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
