RATES:
HGV Class 1
- Days: £17.00 ph (PAYE) | £19.05 (Rolled up)
- Nights: £18.00 ph (PAYE) | £20.17 (Rolled Up)
*** Estimated weekly pay based on 50 hours £850.00 ***
**** Expected annual earnings £44,200 ****
HG Recruitment are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 in partnership with NTS, Professional HGV Class 1 drivers are required to APPLY NOW.
We are looking for reliable and customer-focused HGV Class 1 Drivers to complete multi-drop store deliveries for a major supermarket chain.
DUTIES:
- Carrying out multi-drop store and RDC work in a safe and timely manner
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
- Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules
- Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C + E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
