About The Role
Location: Barton-upon-Humber
Salary: £44,304-£47,304
Pay: £17.75 per hour (weekly payments)
Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Bonus: Quarterly bonus up to £750
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 V60 Drivers to join our award-winning Transport team based in Barton-upon-Humber.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business where you will enjoy excellent earning potential, fully paid Driver CPC training also benefit from a quarterly bonus, 25 days’ holiday plus public holidays, and a Christmas and New Year closure period.
Working as part of a two-person crew, you will be required to undertake occasional manual handling and heavy lifting as part of the role.
This role will be working night shifts starting from (20:00)
Main Responsibilities:
- Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace.
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team.
- Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit.
- Take full responsibility of operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure that Van Delivery Porters proactively makes customer phone calls with ETA’s, & keeps records of deliveries.
- Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free.

About You
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
- Hold a valid C+E UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Hold an up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification
- Comfortable with manual handling, as this is a physically demanding role
- Good customer service skills and a professional attitude
