HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Multidrop Drivers
Location: Tonbridge / Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Pay Rate: £17.50 - £20.50 per hour (depending on licence class and shift pattern)
Contract: Fixed-Term Temporary Assignment (August & September)
Shifts Available: Days and Nights
About the Role
Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a leading transport and logistics provider in Kent. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support increased demand during August and September.
This is a multidrop delivery role involving the transportation of palletised freight to both commercial and residential customers across the region.
Drivers must be comfortable completing deliveries using tail lifts and electric pump trucks where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver palletised freight to commercial and residential locations
- Complete multidrop delivery routes efficiently and safely
- Operate tail lifts and electric pump trucks
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with company and DVSA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and use handheld devices where required

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multidrop delivery experience
- Experience using tail lifts and pump trucks
- Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Be over 25yrs old and have held HGV for at least 2 years
