Class 1 Driver (Curtainsider Deliveries)
Location: Coventry
Salary: £18.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, Ad-Hoc, Monday - Friday
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver for an ongoing Monday to Friday position based in Coventry. The role involves curtainsider deliveries to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for consistent, full-time work with a competitive pay rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 1 vehicle for curtainsider deliveries across designated routes.
- Ensuring goods are securely loaded and unloaded, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Completing all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service with delivery recipients.
- Adhering to traffic regulations and ensuring vehicle compliance.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
- Experience with curtainsider vehicles and load securing.
- Valid C+E (Class 1) driving license and digital tachograph card.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Strong understanding of road safety and compliance with legal driving hours.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.

Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday, with start times between 04:00 AM and 14:00 PM.
- Flexible start times to suit operational needs, with potential for occasional overtime.
Pay:
- £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
