The Role
Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV C+E Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients in the Bridgwater area.
This is a great opportunity for professional drivers looking for day work, with options for ongoing shifts and potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates. Starts Times can be from 2am.
You will be completing Class 1 day driving work, including:
- Trunk runs between depots and distribution sites
- Trailer swaps
- CDC work
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly
- Working safely and professionally at all times

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Full UK Class 1 / HGV C+E licence
- Minimum 1 Year Class 1 Driving Experience
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- Professional and reliable approach to work
