About The Role
This HGV Class 1 Driver role with Rapier Employment is based in Newark-on-Trent, offering £19.40 to £22.66 hourly on a full-time contract. Shift patterns suit the candidate, with day starts between 0400 and 0900, or night starts from 1500 to 2100. Rates are PAYE, with higher pay at weekends.

HGV Class 1 driver

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Newark. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.
This role does require some manual handling.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Delivering to RDCs and stores. (Nights RDC’s only)
- Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and MHE equipment.
- Vehicle checks
- Shift patterns to suit.
Days
- Days between 0400 – 0900
- £19.40ph Monday to Friday
- £21.57ph Saturday
- £22.66ph Sunday
- All rates are PAYE

The ideal candidate.
- Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months
- You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
- “Can do” attitude

- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
