HGV Class 1 Driver Role
Location: Heywood, OL10
Role: Trunking, Fridge trailers, on-going work
Pay Rate: Up to £20.73 Per Hour
Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate
Shifts: AM & PM Shifts, Temp - Perm also available
What You'll Be Doing:
CTRG Limited are looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support general haulage and fridge work operations in Heywood.
- You'll be trunking chilled and frozen goods using fridge trailers across various shift patterns.
- This is a hands-on role that involves handballing, manually unloading goods at delivery points.
- You'll need to be comfortable with physical work and committed to delivering excellent service.
Candidates who apply must have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.

Shifts:
- Sun-Thurs
- Tues-Sat
- Friday-Monday
- Weekend Cover
- On-going work
Start times:
- The priority is PM work currently
- Start times between 15:00 - 20:00
- Shifts around 10-12 hours
- AM Start times 04:00 - 07:00
Rates:
- Days - £17.16 - £19.50
- Nights - £17.42 - £19.80
- Saturdays - £17.68 - £20.10
- Sundays - £18.20 - £20.73
What You'll Need:
- Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with minimum 12 months experience
- DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
- Understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
- Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
