The Vacancy
As an HGV Day Driver at Uniserve, you will play a vital role in daily operations. We're looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for delivering goods across the UK while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Salary: £35,800.
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off, with some weekend working
Bonus: £2,000 per year, paid quarterly based on agreed criteria
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 1 HGV safely and efficiently
- Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
- Deliver goods on time and in good condition
- Complete delivery paperwork and log sheets accurately
- Follow all UK driving regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 6 months experience preferred
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR or IN convictions)
