Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Times: Usually around 6:00am
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing work
Nights Out: Available but not compulsory
Drivers Today is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for regular, ongoing work in Stoke-on-Trent.
The work is a mixture of general haulage and trunking, with typical start times of around 6:00am. Nights out are available for drivers who want them, but they are completely optional—day drivers are equally welcome.
The role:
- General haulage and trunking work
- Curtain-sided vehicles
- Mainly Monday-to-Friday shifts
- Typical starts at approximately 6:00am
- Longer-distance work may be available
- Optional nights out
- Completing vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
- Representing the customer professionally at all times

What we’re looking for:
- Valid Category C+E driving licence
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV Class 1 experience preferred
- A professional and reliable approach
- Good communication and paperwork skills
- A sensible attitude towards vehicle care and road safety
