About The Role
Pertemps Maidstone is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver to join a transport and logistics operation based in Dover. This full-time or part-time temporary role offers a pay rate between £18.00 and £33.94 per hour, with start times at 07:00 or 19:00. Shifts run Monday through Sunday, providing flexible ongoing day or night work with weekly pay. Responsibilities include trunking, haulage, distribution, collections, and deliveries. You will conduct daily vehicle checks, complete transport paperwork, and maintain compliance with Driver CPC and Drivers' Hours regulations. A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is essential, alongside a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence (minimum 1 year held)
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
- Previous experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver, HGV, HGV1 Driver, LGV Driver, Artic Driver, Transport Driver or Haulage Driver is advantageous
