HGV Class 1 Driver
MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE ON CLASS 1 IS A MUST HAVE
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Birmingham.
We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods from depot to depot. It is an Automotive industry work with some general haulage work. Your day will generally consist of up to 3-4 drops per day.
Requirements
- Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to start from multiple sites - Hams Hall, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton
- One day paid assessment to be completed prior starting

Responsibilities
- Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
- Long term ongoing position
- Immediate start available
- No manual handling involved
- PM shifts - start times between 15:00 - 21:00
- AM shifts - start times between 05:00 - 10:00
- Drivers are required to provide 3-4 hours start time window
- Shift patterns Thursday to Monday or Friday to Wednesday
Compensation
- PAYE Dynamic rates first 12 months
- Day Rate - £15.95
- OT after 8 Hours Days – £23.93
- Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00) - £19.94
- Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) - £27.91
- Saturday – until midday is £23.93, after midday £31.90
- Sunday - £31.90
- 9 hours guaranteed per day
- PAYE Dynamic rates after 12 months
- Day Rate - £18.76
- OT after 8 Hours Days – £28.14
- Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00) - £23.45
- Night rate OT after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00) - £32.83
- Saturday – until midday is £28.14, after midday £37.52
- Sunday - £37.52
- 9 hours guaranteed per day
