Driver Hire Colchester Recruitment

Driver Hire Colchester is recruiting several HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne.

This role involves operating a water tanker, travelling to and from various customer sites and destinations across the UK. The successful candidates must be flexible, as night shifts and regular tramping are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 water tanker.
  • Transport water between customer sites and designated locations.
  • Complete all required vehicle checks and paperwork.
  • Comply with all DVSA regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain a professional approach when representing our client.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with nights away and tramping.
  • Reliable, flexible and safety-conscious.
