HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Leeds
Salary: £42,978.60
Contract: 24 Hours Permanent

What You’ll Do:
You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They’re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats, and many more optional extras to make sure you’re comfortable.
Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45-hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 5/6pm. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you’ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Drive lorries from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles.
- Ensure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages, and Yorks get to and from customers on time.
- Scan consignments and drive pallet trucks when necessary.
- Inspect your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.

What We’re Looking For
- Class 1 Driving licence as a minimum.
- Driver CPC qualification card.
- Completed required DCPC training hours or be working towards them.
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and commitment to safe use of the roads.
