Job Description:
HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Blackburn
Job Title:
Class 1 / HGV Driver / LGV Driver / C+E Class 1 Driver
Salary:
£34,203 per annum plus shift allowance
Shift Patterns:
- Nights, Monday – Friday
- 41.25 hours per week
- Varied start times
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join the logistics team here at GAP Plastics, transporting goods from our Blackburn depot to various sites across the group network. You will provide a first-class service delivering stock to our depots, ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to.

Requirements:
- Class 1 Licence
- Forklift Licence – Desired
- Physically able to break down stillages/pallets and load/unload vehicles.
- No DR/DG penalty points.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all drivers’ hours rules & regulations are adhered to.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Administrator.
- Delivering stock and made-to-order products to our depots.
- Manually loading/unloading of stock.
