About The Role
Pertemps Stoke on Trent seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for a prestigious client in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This temporary role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, with shifts starting at 14:00, 16:00, or 22:00 across patterns such as Tuesday to Saturday, Thursday to Monday, or Sunday to Thursday. The position pays between £19.66 and £29.49 per hour. Duties involve operating a double-decker vehicle for nationwide DC deliveries and completing up to three trailer swaps, with no handball required. Applicants must hold CE entitlement, a Digi Card, and CPC, possess fewer than six penalty points, and have maintained their HGV licence for two years.

HGV Class 1 PM Drivers
Our prestigious client is looking for HGV / LGV 1 / C+E / Class 1 PM Drivers to work at their site in Newcastle Under Lyme.
For this HGV PM role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a double decker heavy goods vehicle carrying out nationwide DC deliveries.
- Carrying out up to 3 trailer swaps.
- No handball is involved in this role.
