Job Description
Are you looking for a secure, long-term driving career with guaranteed hours and a permanent contract? We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Ports Drivers to join our growing operation, moving containers throughout the UK from key port locations.

The Role
Working within our container transport operation, you will be responsible for:
- Transporting containers nationwide from port locations
- Delivering to customer sites across the UK
- Completing all vehicle checks and transport documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations and company procedures
- Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service
Shift Patterns Available
Day Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend shifts available
Night Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Night start times available across the evening and overnight period.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday Days: £14.60 per hour
- Monday to Friday Nights: £15.80 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday Days: £17.60 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.10 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £18.41 per hour

Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous container experience is desirable but not essential
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and WTD regulations
- A professional and safety-focused attitude
Additional Information
- You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
- No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
