Job Description
The current opportunity is in container operation, involving:
- Moving containers throughout the UK
- Loading and unloading at customer sites
- Possible manual handling
Shifts
- Thursday–Monday: 04:00 AM–06:00 AM start window.
- Friday–Tuesday: 04:00 AM–06:00 AM start window.

Salary
- Monday–Friday (Day): £14.60 per hour
- Monday–Friday (Night): £15.80 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday (Day): £17.60 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday (Night): £18.10 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £18.41 per hour
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
- Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
- Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
- Adherence to:
- Driver’s Hours
- Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Tachograph legislation

Key Criteria
- Hold a valid C+E Licence
- Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (new pass drivers considered)
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No convictions for DD or DR codes
- Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understanding and compliance with Driver’s Hours and WTD legislation
- Ability to:
- Conduct and report vehicle checks
- Comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
