HGV 1 Driver
Basingstoke
From £18.05 per hour
Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV 1 Drivers to work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company based in Basingstoke.
We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking drivers who can follow a structured delivery schedule and delivering great customer service at each location.
Overview of the Role
- Temp to perm role
- Two-weekly shift pattern with varied start times depending on shift pattern
- Shift pattern does include weekend
- Overtime after 8 hours and weekend hourly rate of £25.56 an hour
- Delivering stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner
- Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
- Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
- Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules

- Week 1 = Monday to Saturday, start times between 00:30am and 03:30am
- Week 2 = Monday to Friday, start times between 00:30am and 03:30am
Requirements for this Role
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- HGV 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving
- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
