HGV Class 1 Drivers – Regular Day Work in Stoke-on-Trent
£19.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay | LTD Drivers Welcome
Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Immediate Starts | Ongoing Work
The Work
Drivers Today are looking for HGV Class 1 / C+E Drivers for regular day work in Stoke-on-Trent. If you're looking for decent weekday hours, competitive pay, and ongoing work rather than constantly chasing your next shift, we'd like to hear from you.
This is varied HGV Class 1 general haulage work, so you're not necessarily doing exactly the same run every day.
Typical duties can include:
- General haulage
- Trucking
- RDC deliveries and collections
- Curtain-sided trailers
- Palletised loads
- Local, regional, and longer-distance runs
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Day shifts only, predominantly working Monday to Friday.

What We're Looking For
You'll need a:
- HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules
- Professional and reliable approach
- Previous Class 1 general haulage experience preferred
We're particularly interested in drivers who want to become regular faces on the contract, rather than simply picking up an occasional shift.
