About The Role
Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for permanent work in Hereford. Pay ranges from £16.50 to £18.50 hourly, with full or part-time contracts offered. Shifts run Monday through Friday, plus an optional extra day every other week. Duties involve nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-sided vehicles, mostly via forklift or trailer swaps, with no handballing needed. The successful candidate must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence and will ensure goods arrive safely, efficiently, and in line with legal and company rules. Independent working and strong customer service matter. Safe car lock-up provided. New and experienced drivers may apply.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client. This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company regulations.

- Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles

- Mostly forklift or trailer swaps
🚚 Requirements
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes)
- Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
- Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
- Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
