Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour (£18.38 including holiday pay)

Shifts: Flexible

Job Description

Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington.
This is a trunking-only role with no handball, offering flexible scheduling, excellent rates of pay, and ongoing work opportunities.
Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, weekend, or ad-hoc shifts, you can choose when you work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete trunking runs between national distribution hubs.
  • Carry out drop and swap trailer work.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum 12 months UK Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement).
  • No more than 6 penalty points.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.
