We are seeking a professional and safety-focused HGV Class 1 Driver/Shunter to join our team in Derby.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pharmaceutical goods safely, efficiently, and on time, providing excellent customer service.
- Support on-site shunting operations to ensure smooth distribution center processes.
- Maintain communication with the Transport Office regarding delays or operational issues.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and returns.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Secure loads and ensure safe transportation according to legal and company standards.
- Adhere to road traffic laws, driver regulations, and company policies.
- Report incidents, defects, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications & Skills
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence and Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card and good knowledge of driver hours' regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Previous Class 1 driving/shunting experience is desirable.
